The Feet of Freedom

Over 30 young girls were locked in an Old Civil War Prison during the Civil Rights Movement (specifically 1963) in Georgia before being saved by SNCC and Congress. The main reason no one talks about the Leesburg Stockade Girls is that the Americus, GA Government worked extremely hard to stifle the work of these protestors. In this podcast, The Feet of Freedom, I try to uncover their story.
